New features deepen the Hellblade II experience

Performance Mode (60 FPS)

The game now runs at 60 frames per second. This is great for combat and fast scenes. On PC, a new Very High preset further enhances visuals. Also, the game is now Steam Deck Verified, so handheld play is supported.

The Dark Rot is back

This optional mode brings more danger. Every death spreads the rot. If it reaches Senua’s head, your save is gone. It adds serious risk for those who want a challenge.

Improved Photo Mode

Photo Mode now includes more settings. A new Motion tab lets you create custom videos. It’s perfect for in-game photography and cinematic shots.

Developer Commentary

Hear from the dev team and cast in over four hours of commentary. Learn about the creative choices, Senua’s journey, and how they handled psychosis in the story.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II first launched on May 21, 2025, for Xbox and PC. The PS5 version is arriving soon, complete with all the extras. Whether you’re new or returning, this is the best way to play.
