HAVN has officially entered the power supply market, and it is doing so with a clear message. Power should be stable, quiet, and dependable. At CES, the company revealed the XR 1000W Platinum A++, a power supply made for high-end gaming and performance PCs.
The XR Series was created with help from experienced engineers across the industry. Instead of chasing flashy features, HAVN focused on the basics that matter most to PC builders. These include steady power output, low noise, and long-term reliability.

Roland Gschwender, Product Manager at HAVN, explained that the XR Series reflects what the company believes a modern premium power supply should be. The team spent a long time testing and adjusting the design, using both in house lab testing and third party evaluations to refine the final product.

The XR 1000W Platinum A++ follows the latest ATX 3.1 standard. This means it is ready to handle the power needs of today’s and tomorrow’s components. It also features a 12V 2×6 dual connector, which is designed to deliver stable power to powerful graphics cards without sudden drops or spikes.
Cooling plays a big role in keeping the unit quiet. The power supply uses a fully decoupled H Series fan along with a solid aluminium top cover. Airflow is guided carefully through the unit, helping reduce heat while keeping fan noise to a minimum.

Noise levels remain under 15 dB during typical use. Because of this, the XR 1000W has received a Cybenetics A++ rating for acoustics. For users building a quiet PC, this is an important advantage.
Power stability is another key strength. The 12V rail shows very low voltage variation, even during sudden load changes. This helps protect expensive components and ensures smooth performance during gaming or heavy workloads.

The power supply is also efficient when the system is idle. Its 5V standby rail supports modern low power modes, helping reduce wasted energy when the PC is sleeping or turned off.
HAVN XR 1000W availability
HAVN plans to release the XR 1000W Platinum A++ globally in Q2 or Q3. It will be sold through selected retailers and system builders.
With its first power supply, HAVN is clearly aiming for builders who value quiet operation, stable performance, and modern design over unnecessary extras.
