Guild Wars 2 is getting a new expansion. It’s called Visions of Eternity. It launches on October 28.

ArenaNet confirmed it today. This is the next yearly expansion. It follows Janthir Wilds.

The story takes players to Castora. It’s a hidden island full of magic and ley energy. The Inquest is after it, too. You’ll lead the mission to stop them.

Visions of Eternity adds new content and upgrades

Two new maps launch on day one. Two more will be released in 2026. There will be new raids and a new Convergence.

New gear will drop throughout the year. Wizard’s Vault rewards are also being updated.

Each profession gets a new elite spec. These add new skills and traits. You can try them in beta from August 20 to 27.

Mount upgrades and the Homestead system

The Skimmer mount gets three new Mastery lines. These improve movement and underwater use.

The Homestead system is expanding. A new beach plot is being added. A new Layout feature lets players copy and share designs.
