Rockstar North, one of the key studios behind GTA 6, has been hit by reports of an explosion at its Edinburgh offices.
The incident was reported at around 5 AM GMT, with police and fire services quickly arriving at the scene. The building, located in Scotland, was cordoned off while emergency crews carried out checks.
According to Eurogamer, EdinburghLive reported that Scottish Fire & Rescue remained on site for more than two hours. In a statement, the service confirmed it had “mobilised three pumps and four specialist appliances” to deal with the situation.

A spokesperson later told the BBC that firefighters were responding to structural damage inside the building. Crews were officially stood down at 9:21 AM GMT.
At the time of writing, no deaths or injuries have been reported. While the cause has not been formally confirmed, early local reports suggest the explosion may have been caused by a boiler.
Rockstar North has not issued a public statement on the incident so far.
The studio is best known for its work on the Grand Theft Auto series and is heavily involved in development on GTA 6, one of the most anticipated games in the industry.
