Amazon’s live-action God of War series keeps moving ahead. The latest casting news confirms who will play Atreus, the son of Kratos.
According to Variety, Callum Vinson has landed the role. He joins Ryan Hurst, who is already set to play Kratos. With both main leads confirmed, the show is starting to feel more real.
Vinson is not new to TV. He has appeared in Dead Ringers, Long Bright River, and Poker Face. This role could easily become his biggest so far.

Fans know how important Atreus is to the story. His journey starts when he learns he is a god. From there, he struggles with identity, responsibility, and his bond with his father. That father-son relationship is a big reason why the games connected with so many players. Seeing it in live action will be interesting.
