Ghost of Yotei, the exciting new game from the creators of Ghost of Tsushima, is coming soon. A brand-new trailer has just been released, and it confirms that the game will launch on October 2nd, 2025, for PlayStation 5.
The new trailer also gives us a better look at some of the enemies Atsu, the main character, will face. These enemies are known as the Yotei Six, and Atsu has promised to hunt them all down. The trailer shows amazing graphics and action scenes, and it looks even better than Ghost of Tsushima, which first came out on PlayStation 4 and was later upgraded for PlayStation 5 and PC.

Ghost of Yotei pre-orders begin on May 2nd
According to a post on the official PlayStation blog, players can start pre-ordering Ghost of Yotei from May 2nd at 10:00 AM local time. There will be three different editions of the game:
1. Standard Edition – $69.99 USD
This edition includes the full game and some pre-order gifts:
- A special in-game mask
- Seven PlayStation Network (PSN) avatars showing art of Atsu and the Yotei Six
2. Digital Deluxe Edition – $79.99 USD
This version gives you more in-game items, such as:
- The Snake armour set
- A different colour for the starting armour
- Early unlocks for Traveller’s Maps to explore the game world faster
3. Collector’s Edition
This is the most special version and includes everything from the other two editions, plus physical items:
- A real-life display mask like Atsu’s Ghost mask
- A replica of Atsu’s sash and katana guard (Tsuba)
- A bag of game coins and instructions to play Zeni Hajiki, a mini-game you’ll also play inside Ghost of Yotei
- A foldable paper ginkgo tree with a wolf at the bottom
- Four 5×7-inch art cards showing key items and artwork from the game
A big step forward in action games
Ghost of Yotei promises to be a huge adventure. It builds on everything fans loved about Ghost of Tsushima—beautiful scenery, exciting combat, and a strong story—but makes it even better. The game launches on October 2nd, 2025, and will be available all over the world.
