The update comes from the latest PlayStation Blog post, which outlines everything waiting for returning players. The base trophy list was already generous, but two new trophies have now been added. They’re tied to New Game Plus, giving completionists another reason to sharpen their blades.
New Game Plus works as you’d expect. Finish the story once, and you can start over with all your progress intact. Your gear, abilities, and upgrades carry forward, but the challenge gets steeper thanks to a harder difficulty designed for players who want real punishment.
There’s more to chew on, too.

New features in the update
You’ll find a new currency called Ghost Flowers, which you can spend at a fresh vendor offering a range of cosmetics. Armour sets and weapons now have an extra tier of upgrades, letting you push your build even further than before. The update also adds accessibility improvements, including full button remapping and new Photo Mode options. You can even replay content from the main game, giving you more control over how you explore the world.

The New Game Plus trailer offers a quick look at everything coming, and it’s clear the journey isn’t over for Ghost of Yotei fans.
