GameSir has officially announced the launch of its new GameSir Pocket Taco vertical mobile controller, and it is now live on Kickstarter. The controller is made for players who enjoy classic arcade and handheld games on their phones, while still wanting modern features and easy use.
The Pocket Taco comes with a vertical clamp design that turns a smartphone into a small retro-style gaming system. It connects using Bluetooth, allowing smooth and wireless gameplay on Android and other supported platforms. This makes it easy to start playing anywhere, anytime.
One of the biggest highlights of the controller is its compact size. It measures just 78 × 70.9 × 20.7 mm and weighs only 62.2 grams. Because of this, it easily fits into a pocket or bag. GameSir also includes a PP storage box, which helps protect the controller during travel.
The controller is designed with smart features for daily use. It turns on automatically when opened and switches off when closed. This helps save battery and makes the experience simple and smooth. Soft silicone pads inside the phone clamp protect the device from scratches and keep it firmly in place during gameplay.
The Pocket Taco is powered by a 600 mAh battery, which is enough for long gaming sessions. Thanks to its open bottom design, users can charge their phone while playing. This is useful for extended gaming without interruptions.

The GameSir Pocket Taco is available in classic grey and Atom Purple colours. The Atom Purple version is exclusive to the Kickstarter campaign. Early backers can get the controller starting at $34.99 or £27.99. Shipping is expected to begin in April, while the campaign will run until March 14, 2026.
