Frostpunk 2 is coming to consoles. 11 Bit Studios has confirmed it will launch on PS5 and Xbox on 18 September 2025. It’ll also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
The news dropped with a trailer. But it went live early and was quickly made private. Still, fans grabbed it and shared it elsewhere.
Frostpunk 2 first launched on PC in September 2024. Reviews were strong. Players praised its harsh survival systems, tough choices, and cold atmosphere.
Frostpunk 2 DLC is on the way
Two DLCs are planned before the end of 2025. A third is coming in 2026. All part of the game’s original roadmap.
The leak was likely a mistake. But the wait is over. Console players are finally getting their turn in the snow.
