Solo developer and horror fiction writer Elliott Dahle has officially launched his latest delightfully deranged creation, Frog Legs. Available now on PC via Steam, this bite-sized single-player horror-action game blends amphibian absurdity with boomer shooter thrills, puzzling clues, and spine-jolting jump scares.
Set in a quiet suburban nightmare, Frog Legs tells the tale of Carl, a traumatised house frog still haunted by a deadly road-hopping incident from years ago. When the past comes hopping back in unexpected ways, Carl and his lifelong frog pals must face their demons, solve puzzles, and fight back against the chaos before things go fully croak-shaped.
Across its 30-60 minute runtime, Frog Legs delivers a story-driven experience that careens from arcade-style road dodging to explosive frog-blasting action with the appropriately named Big Froggin’ Gun. It’s short, sharp, silly, and scary—crafted with love by the same dev behind The Man in the Park, a viral PSX-style indie horror hit.

Frog Legs key features:
- A concise, creepy tale from a seasoned horror writer
- Boomer shooter mayhem mixed with cryptic puzzles and platforming
- Full of jumpscares, jokes, and frogs—obviously
- Only an hour long, but packed with surprises
Frog Legs is out now on Steam for $2.99 / £2.49 / €2.99, with a 15% launch discount available for the first two weeks. Mac and Linux versions are also on the way.
Whether you’re in it for the weird humour, spooky vibes, or just really like frogs with unresolved trauma, Frog Legs is one indie horror trip worth hopping into.
