Fulqrum Publishing and developer Byte Barrel have confirmed that Forgive Me Father 2 is making the jump to consoles. The fast-paced, comic book-style FPS is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch this fall. Forgive Me Father 2 is already available on PC, so if you’re curious and can’t wait, you can dive into the madness right now.

Forgive Me Father 2 announcement trailer

Forgive Me Father 2 originally crept onto the scene in Early Access on October 19, 2023, for Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG, before unleashing its full version on October 24, 2024. And now it’s gearing up to spread its twisted brand of horror and action to a much wider audience.

Forgive Me Father 2 picks up where the first game left off, continuing the journey of the Priest as he grapples with the edges of his sanity. The world is darker, the enemies are meaner, and the madness is dialled up to eleven.

Game features

The most obvious standout is the striking comic-book art style. Every frame looks like it was torn from a gritty horror graphic novel. The sequel cranks that up with improved sprites, more expressive lighting, and, of course, loads of juicy blood effects. Expect gory gibs flying everywhere in glorious hand-drawn style.

Combat is all about customisation and chaos. There’s a whole arsenal of classic and twisted weaponry, from punchy shotguns to precise rifles and heavy launchers, each with multiple variants for more carnage. And it’s not just guns—you also build up madness powers, which let you bend the horrors of the world to your will. The more you lose your mind, the stronger you become. Terrifying? Absolutely. Fun? Even more so.

You’ll be up against some truly nightmarish enemies—and they evolve. These Lovecraftian monstrosities get creepier and more dangerous the longer you stay alive. It’s a brutal fight, and survival means keeping your sanity and reflexes sharp.

Also, if you’re into music that hits hard, the soundtrack is pure metal mayhem. Electric guitars and pounding drums underscore the chaos perfectly, giving the whole thing a relentless energy that’ll keep your head nodding even as your health bar drops.

If you’ve been craving a stylish, intense shooter that leans hard into horror and insanity, Forgive Me Father 2 is worth watching. Whether you’re a returning fan from the first game or new to the series, this fall’s console launch is a great chance to jump in and see how far your sanity will stretch.
