Kluge Interactive is proud to present a Fitness Update for Synth Riders, a free pack of features that make trying to #stayhome and #stayfit a lot easier for all fans of dance-rhythm action in VR. Players on Oculus Quest and PCVR are welcomed to enjoy the features together during a new weekly “Synth Sundays” workout classes with professional trainers.

Synth Riders is an action-rhythm VR game that offers a unique combination of dancing and enjoyable physical workout that not only can help the players burn some calories, but also reduce stress and improve their mood. The game features 33 songs in a range of genres, official support for custom songs (also on the Oculus Quest), and cross-platform Multiplayer.

With the new update, players can now track their workout progress thanks to the integrated YUR.watch VR Fitness Tracker. This virtual watch enables players to monitor their heart rate, squat count, calories burned, and record progress all within a shake of a wrist. Fitness training sessions in Synth Riders also get more intense with the “larger play area modifier” and smoother thanks to the new “Non-Stop Mode,” offering an uninterrupted flow of the music and physical activity.

When staying at home, Synth Riders players can still connect with others around the world and enjoy time together in the improved multiplayer mode for up to 10 players per room. Apart from connecting via voice chat and competing for high scores, players can now even see each others’ avatars in the lobby.

The developer invites everyone to join the first live fitness training in VR during the inauguration of weekly “Synth Sundays” workout classes. Players will be able to meet Carize and HeyFalcon, pro Twitch streamers and trainers, who will lead training sessions via open rooms in the multiplayer mode of the game. The classes will begin this Sunday, April 5th at 1PM PST and take place every week. Early bird players will be able to join the trainers, host their own workout sessions, or watch the event live on: multitwitch.tv/carize/heyfalcon_

Synth Riders Fitness Update introduces Synth Sundays with Carize & Heyfalcon

We are glad to be working with YUR on a solution that can help our players stay active during these uncertain times, when a lot of the traditional fitness options are not available. We believe that “Synth Sundays” will be a great way to connect our players together for workouts and social interactions which are now only possible in a multiplayer VR experience.
