The first patch for WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers is out now, weighing in at around 900MB on PC. Sadly, if you were hoping for a performance boost, this ain’t it.
Leenzee rolled out the update earlier today with a few fixes and some extras. For starters, everyone who owns the game now gets access to the official soundtrack, which is a nice bonus. The patch also closes a loophole that let players unlock preorder and deluxe edition items without actually buying them.
WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers – Patch 1.3 (July 24 Update)

Thank you for waiting and for your continued support for the launch of WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers. As our ongoing commitment to deliver the best possible experience, we’ve released Patch 1.3 to address several key issues… pic.twitter.com/X16oh5VHKc
But what about performance? Fallen Feathers is still rough.
This Wuchang update doesn’t fix the stuttering or broken Frame Generation. If the game suddenly feels better on your rig, double-check your settings. And Frame Generation? Still busted. Turning it on only adds more stutter, so it’s best to leave it off for now.
So no, this isn’t that patch, the one that smooths out gameplay or tackles the hitching issues.
Steam will automatically download the update the next time you fire it up, but don’t expect a full changelog. The devs haven’t posted one yet. If they do, we’ll update the story with the details.
Until then, keep those expectations low and your settings even lower.
