Frictional Games is showing off the first gameplay footage of Amnesia: Rebirth in a 5-minute-long video, revealing new environments, puzzles and monsters. The most anticipated horror game of the year, Amnesia: Rebirth is launching on October 20th on PC and PlayStation 4. Pre-orders are available on Steam, GOG.com, Epic Games Store, and PlayStation Store.

The new trailer reveals some gameplay mechanics involved in solving puzzles, alongside Frictional’s signature physics interactions. It also shows a sneak peek of one of the game’s monsters where the player has to go through a frantic obstacle course in a desperate attempt to escape.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent revolutionized the first-person horror experience, and kickstarted an entire genre of survival horror games. Amnesia: Rebirth promises to bring back what worked in the original title while building a deeper narrative experience. A new descent into darkness; a harrowing journey that will leave a lasting mark on players for years to come.
