The studio behind Bloons is back, and this time, they’ve brought 100 players into the arena.

Ninja Kiwi, the New Zealand-based team best known for the ever-addictive Bloons franchise, has officially opened the playtest for its next big release: Fightland. This ambitious new title throws players into a cosmic battleground of chaos, tactics, and team-based domination, and it’s available to try right now on Steam.

Set in a stylised universe where time and space collide, Fightland pits four factions of up to 25 players each against one another in intense, objective-based skirmishes. Whether you’re defending your base, looting for better gear, or coordinating a squad ambush on enemy lines, every decision counts.

Players can choose from three hero classes, each offering unique loadouts and tactical options. With fully customisable weapons, cosmetic outfits, and unlockable Battle Assets that can swing entire engagements, the game offers a mix of depth and chaos that should appeal to fans of both tactical shooters and large-scale PvP brawlers.

The current build includes three core game modes and a range of content to explore, all while the devs actively gather feedback from the community to fine-tune balance, pacing, and future features. This isn’t just a sneak peek — it’s a chance to directly influence the development of Fightland before it officially launches into Early Access.

Ninja Kiwi describes Fightland as “a fresh new take on team-based PvP”, and it’s clear they’re gunning for something big. The early playtest marks a bold move into new territory for the studio, blending their knack for tight gameplay design with a massive, multiplayer-first mindset.

When is the Fightland playtest?

The playtest is live now, exclusively on Steam for Windows, and available for anyone ready to dive in and start brawling. Whether you’re a veteran tactician or just here for some cosmic carnage, this is your chance to join the fight before the world catches on.
