CCP Games is giving players a chance to try EVE Frontier for free with a 10-day trial running from February 14 to 24. Anyone who registers as a ‘Remnant’ can jump into the Closed Alpha and explore the Space Survival MMO while it’s still in development. The trial is available on both PC and Mac—just create an account, and you’re in.
A new teaser trailer has been released on the EVE Frontier YouTube channel to mark the occasion.

A survival challenge in deep space
EVE Frontier is a player-driven survival MMO set in a dangerous, ever-changing cosmos. Stranded in a shattered region of space, players must explore, gather resources, and expand their base to stay alive. The Frontier itself is constantly warped by nearby supermassive black holes, making survival even more challenging.
The game has been in Closed Alpha since December 10, 2024. Players who purchase Founder Access ($39.99) get permanent access to all updates, along with perks like cosmetics, developer streams, and feedback opportunities. Founder Access buyers are also under NDA during this phase.

A glimpse at the future
When EVE Frontier officially launches, it will be free-to-play with an optional subscription. If you’re curious about its approach to cryptocurrencies, blockchain, or open-sourcing, the official FAQ covers those details.
