Dying Light: The Beast has received its 1.4 update, and it is a big one. Techland has rolled out New Game+, Legend Levels, and more than 400 fixes. It is a strong push to polish a game that already launched in great form.
A deeper endgame for returning Dying Light players
The update is live on all platforms. New Game+ lets fans replay Kyle Crane’s story with all their gear and skills. Each run gets harder, so there is always a new challenge waiting.
Legend Levels unlock after level 15. The system works like it did in older Dying Light games. It gives players more progression beyond the original cap.

The update also brings higher difficulty settings, better immersion, and full ray tracing. Lighting looks sharper. Shadows and reflections feel more natural. It helps Castor Woods feel even more alive.
There is a limited-time event as well, with exclusive rewards and double XP. It works alongside the ongoing ‘Call of the Beast’ challenge circuit. Those weekly events have kept the community busy with rotating tasks and prizes.

Those 400 tweaks focus mainly on movement and parkour. Techland says the update is shaped by community feedback. It shows the studio is still committed to pushing The Beast forward.
