Doloc Town, a side-scrolling pixel art farming sim with a gritty twist, officially launches into Early Access on 8 May for PC via Steam, announced by Logoi Games and developer RedSaw Games Studio.

Producer Yao Fan shared;

“The positive feedback from our demo has been incredible, and we’re excited to take the next step with Early Access. We can’t wait to build Doloc Town together with our community.”

Set in a world that’s seen better days, Doloc Town blends elements from Stardew Valley, Fallout, and Terraria. It’s a strange but oddly warm post-apocalyptic place where growing food, restoring hope, and dodging acid rain are all in a day’s work.

You start small, with just a few pots and a dream. Over time, you’ll plant crops, expand your farm, and upgrade your tools. Farming’s the heart of it all, but there’s much more to do: cook meals, fish, automate tasks, and survive harsh weather. Acid rain? Heatwaves? It’s not just a farming sim, it’s survival with a trowel.

The Early Access version packs 20+ hours of story content, alongside quests, crafting, and exploration across two large regions: Rivervalley and the Wetland. And the world isn’t just beautiful, it’s broken. As you dig through ruins and talk to the locals, you’ll start to unravel the mystery behind this shattered land.

Oh, and there are drones. Yep, DIY drone companions you can customise to fight alongside you or just help out while you gather supplies. Whether you want bullet-filled battles or relaxed exploration, the game lets you shape the experience your way.

Doloc Town is cosy, chaotic, and a little heartbreaking, but that’s what makes it worth diving into. Early Access begins 8 May.
