You play as Ro, a mother from a shamanic tribe, who refuses to accept the loss of her child. In a desperate move, she enters the spirit world to fight for a second chance.

Death Howl - key art

Death Howl mixes soulslike mechanics with deckbuilding and grid-based combat. Exploration spans eerie, hostile biomes. Every step carries a cost, and every enemy demands careful study. Defeat isn’t the end here; it’s part of learning. Resting revives foes, keeping players on their toes.

Each region adds new enemies, abilities, and cards. Players can tailor their deck and strategy as Ro grows stronger. It’s a quiet war of grief and resolve, where every fallen spirit fuels her journey.

Death Howl is minimalist in presentation but heavy on emotion, promising a haunting story of sorrow, survival, and acceptance.
