Deadlock is about to feel a lot busier. Valve’s steampunk MOBA is adding six new heroes over the next two weeks, and players will get to decide the order they arrive in.
The first new face is Mina, a vampire with serious damage potential. She plays as a glass cannon, dealing sharp bursts of Spirit damage from range. She’s already live in-game.

Six new heroes in Deadlock
The rest of the roster will roll out one by one, with a new hero dropping every other day. Players can vote for which one comes next at the Hideout – a new social hub where you can hang out, test abilities, and even invite friends.
The upcoming heroes include Billy the demonic goat, Paige the book mage, The Doorman, Victor the Frankenstein-inspired monster, and the mysterious Drifter. These names first surfaced earlier this year in a leaked test build.

Alongside the hero rollout, the update also brings a visual overhaul. The map has been upgraded, the character select screen has been reworked, and some heroes have fresh looks. Valve has promised more visual tweaks and hero updates in the future.
Deadlock is still in early access and requires an invite to play. Valve hasn’t shared when the game will go open or launch fully, but for now, the roster is only getting bigger.
