Playdigious and WILD WITS have announced the release date for Crown Gambit, a narrative tactical RPG launching on June 18 for PC via Steam.

Set in the crumbling kingdom of Meodred, Crown Gambit puts you in command of three paladins – Aliza, Hael, and Rollo, each wielding relic-based powers in a story full of betrayal, rebellion, and tough moral choices.
You’ll choose which heir to the throne to support, navigate political conspiracies, and make decisions that shape the game’s outcome. The story adapts to your choices, offering multiple endings and branching alliances.
Combat blends turn-based tactics with deck-building. You’ll customise each paladin’s deck, strategise your moves, and strike with cinematic flair. Dark powers known as Ancestral Grace can tip the balance in your favour, but using them may come at a steep cost.
Inspired by Celtic folklore, the game features bold hand-drawn visuals by Gobert and a haunting soundtrack that mixes medieval tones with a modern edge.
