Today, the first complex and highly detailed commercial aircraft expansion from a third party will be released for Microsoft Flight Simulator: The CRJ (Canadair Regional Jet) in the variants CRJ 550 and CRJ 700 from Aerosoft is a small high-end airliner for short distances and is simulated in its complexity down to the smallest detail.

Short-haul aircraft like the CRJ are extremely popular, as most flight simulator fans prefer flights that last no more than two hours, as takeoff and landing are especially exciting. It is the perfect small and agile jet to connect regional and small international airports with major hubs.

Pilots enjoy flying the CRJ because it is powerful, manoeuvrable and a real joy to fly manually. It also requires more piloting skill than a modern Airbus or Boeing because of the limited options for automating the flight. For example, it lacks automatic control for airspeed in cruise flight.

In addition to a high-quality 3D model, this popular airliner shines with a cockpit that includes almost all systems. Especially the accurate flight dynamics, the detailed Flight Management System and the Head-Up Guidance System, which have been implemented in an unprecedented graphical and technical quality, will inspire old and new PC pilots.

Aerosoft CRJ 550/700 is based on more than 10 years of experience of the developers
from the CRJ family, which have already been released for FSX and Prepar3D. The technology of the latest Microsoft Flight Simulator opened the opportunity to use the latest in design, system and flight model technology in this add-on. The CRJ has been redesigned from the ground up to meet the new standard in appearance, function and flight characteristics.

Aerosoft CRJ 550/700 for Microsoft Flight Simulator has been developed in cooperation with Microsoft and Asobo Studio. The small airliner is available for download in the Aerosoft store and costs 49.95 EUR / $ 49.95.
