Legion Studios has just dropped a new trailer for Covenant, its upcoming first-person dark fantasy combat game, and it looks intense. Described as a “first-person shooter Soulslike,” the game is heading to PC via Steam, though there’s no release date yet.

Covenant isn’t just another dark fantasy. Covenant throws you into a huge interconnected world as the last living messenger—an angel named Malach, now lost to the abyss. You’re sent to uncover the truth behind his fall, following his path through shattered kingdoms and ancient power.

You’ll fight using close-quarter combat that’s punchy and personal. Think dodges, wall kicks, grabs, and executions—all in first-person. Combat is split into stances that change everything from your moves to your magic. Switch between one-handed or two-handed grips on your weapon, trade mobility for power, and master stances that reshape how you fight, move, and cast.

Expect tough boss fights, PvP duels, and full co-op support. You can take on enemies solo, with friends, or face each other in 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 arenas. And the world? Classic Soulslike stuff—interconnected paths, hidden areas, shortcuts, platforming, riddles, and plenty of secrets to dig into.

You’ll build your character with a deep system that includes stances, weapons, rings, garbs, spells, catalysts, and more. Every weapon can be upgraded to reveal new traits and hidden abilities.

It’s gritty, challenging, and loaded with depth.
