Bandai Namco has released a gripping new story trailer for Code Vein II, setting the stage for a darker, bloodier sequel when it launches on PC on 30th January 2026 – Denuvo included.
Code Vein II Story Trailer
The trailer throws us into a collapsing world where humanity’s last survivors, the Revenants, are locked in a desperate fight against a terrifying new threat called Luna Rapacis. This force twists Revenants into mindless Horrors, leaving only chaos in its wake.
Players step into the role of a Revenant Hunter, a fighter who tracks and eliminates these powerful beings. You’re joined by Lou, a mysterious companion who can travel into the past, giving you the power to rewrite history and uncover the truth behind the world’s downfall.

Code Vein II spans two timelines, and every decision you make will alter how the story unfolds. Combat remains the heart of it all, a blend of punishing soulslike precision and anime flair. You can drain enemies to gain new powers and use Blood Codes to create custom builds suited to your playstyle.
New tools called Jails also let you modify weapons and gear to face tougher foes and bosses. Partner characters return too, each with their own skills, stories, and personalities. How you bond with them directly impacts the story’s direction.

If the first game was about surviving the darkness, Code Vein II looks ready to make you live it. It’s stylish, brutal, and filled with choices that could change everything.
