This follow-up aims to take everything the original did and expand it. Customisation goes much deeper, letting players tweak eyes, scars, hair, outfits, and even accessories to create a revenant that feels personal. Combat has also been pushed forward, with new weapon types like bayonets that blend ranged shots with melee slashes.

The companion system has seen one of the biggest overhauls. Partners now bring passive buffs and unique abilities, and they can be assimilated to add even more power to the player’s build. Lou, for example, manipulates time to shift the flow of combat.

The narrative also takes a bigger swing, putting time travel at the heart of the journey as players leap into the past to alter the future. Exploration ties into this, with map interactions opening paths and crafting systems giving new ways to prepare for fights.
