At The Game Awards, 2K and Gearbox Software revealed the first look at Borderlands 4, including an exciting new trailer and some screenshots. This new game promises to be the biggest and most thrilling Borderlands yet, filled with action, wild weapons, and a dangerous new world to explore.
Meet the Timekeeper
The trailer introduces a new character, The Timekeeper. He’s a ruthless dictator who controls the planet from above. His rule is challenged when a massive disaster happens, shaking his perfect world and causing chaos. The planet, called Kairos, is now more dangerous than ever, and players will need to face the dangers that lurk there.
New features and gameplay
- New characters and weapons: Players will get to choose from a range of Vault Hunters, each with unique skills and abilities. The game also offers billions of different weapons to find, so every player can create their perfect loadout.
- Massive world: The game takes place on the new planet Kairos. Players will explore different zones, each filled with enemies, loot, and side missions that reward exploration.
- Seamless travel and combat: Borderlands 4 allows players to move between zones without loading screens. New mechanics also make combat even more exciting, with vehicles you can summon almost anywhere to help you race across the world.
