Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 season 2 roadmap brings new maps, zombies quest, and Black Ops Royale
Activision has revealed the roadmap for Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, and it looks like a sizeable update across every major mode. The new season goes live on 11 March 2026, bringing fresh content to multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone, and the Endgame experience.
Endgame players will run into a new Glitch Fracture activity inside Nightmare Zones. These appear after defeating Strike Bosses and throw players into waves of enemies before a final Glitch Boss fight. Beating it unlocks Nightmare Skills, which expand how Operators can upgrade their specialisations. There is also an Exotic Fabricator that lets players upgrade gear to Exotic rarity.

Black Ops 7 season 2 roadmap highlights
Multiplayer is getting five new maps at launch. The classic Firing Range returns, while Yemen from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has been reimagined. Two new modes are also arriving, alongside a new Scorestreak called Lockshot.
Zombies fans will head to Paradox Junction, a new round-based map with its own story quest. The Blundergat Wonder Weapon is also returning, and it can be upgraded into the Sundergat for stronger attacks.
Warzone players will see the biggest shake-up. Black Ops Royale joins the playlist, taking inspiration from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode.

Black Ops 7 Season 2 also introduces two new weapons, seasonal events, and new bundles rolling out during the update.
