Game Science has teased Black Myth: Wukong’s appearance at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. The showcase kicks off at 8:00 p.m. (CEST) on August 19. Fans are already convinced that DLC is on the way. The timing lines up, with the game launching on Xbox just one day after the show.
It has been almost a year since Black Myth: Wukong was released. Players have been asking for more content. The game made a huge splash in August 2024, becoming one of the standout Soulslike releases of the year.
Wukong fans spot clues in teaser
On X, Game Science posted a short teaser:
“Destined Ones, GameScience will be joining this year’s Gamescom Opening Night Live. The show kicks off at 8:00 p.m. (CEST) on August 19, and we look forward to seeing you there.”
The post was paired with an image showing monsters, calligraphy, and ethereal details. A user translated the text:
“The extraordinary is ordinary in this world; ‘gods and devils’ often wear respectable attire.”

There was also a date – August 20, 2025. That’s the day after the showcase. Many believe a shadowdrop is coming, with the DLC going live right after the reveal.
