The Battlefield 6 Open Beta is here, but you might be waiting a while to get in. Like, a long while.

Early Access just went live, and server queues have already hit over 230,000 players. Even after 20 minutes, some players barely moved past 100K in line. And if your PC crashes, then get ready to queue all over again.

Battlefield 6 - Open beta players

This is just Early Access. The full beta opens August 9th, so who knows how high that queue will climb? 600K maybe? Still, it’s clear people are hyped.

Battlefield 6 needs Secure Boot, TPM, and next-gen upscaling

Just a heads-up: Battlefield 6 won’t run unless you’ve got Secure Boot and TPM 2.0 enabled in BIOS. No launch. No queue. Nothing.

On the tech side, the game supports DLSS 4, FSR 3, and XeSS 2.0. AMD users should update drivers, but there’s no FSR 4.0 here, just 3.0 for now.

This beta is already chaos, and it’s just getting started.
