Embark Studios isn’t slowing down after ARC Raiders exploded onto Steam. The game launched just a few days back and hit over 250,000 concurrent players, a record-breaking debut for an extraction shooter. It even outperformed The Finals in its opening numbers, which says a lot about how strong this launch really was.

Now, Embark’s already teasing what’s coming next. The team dropped a new roadmap outlining two big updates planned before the end of 2025, one in November and another in December.
November’s update will deliver fresh quests, community events, a new map, and more ARC machines to take down. December will bring some winter vibes, adding a Snowfall map condition, a new expedition, and a fresh raider deck to round out the year.
The studio also thanked fans for jumping in so quickly, saying it plans to grow ARC Raiders with player feedback in mind. “This is only the beginning,” they wrote.
Embark’s already pushed out the first hotfix, too, tackling some early server and animation issues. And impressively, launch day has gone mostly without a hitch, not something you see often from a smaller studio working on an online game.
