The war for Saiadha is about to kick off, and Hooded Horse and Amplitude are giving players a first proper look at one of Endless Legend 2‘s playable factions the Kin of Sheredyn. These hardened survivors, descended from interstellar explorers, will stop at nothing to defend their territory while searching for their long-lost leader.

Stranded and fighting for survival
The Kin of Sheredyn weren’t supposed to be stuck on Saiadha. Originally part of an expedition from a powerful spacefaring empire, they were sent to explore the ocean planet and lay the groundwork for a new colony. Instead, they found themselves stranded, with brutal storms and relentless Necrophage assaults pushing them to the brink. Their leader, Commander Garin, disappeared years ago, and his absence has only strengthened the legend one day, he’ll return to lead them to victory.
Built to last, ready to fight
On the gameplay side, the Kin of Sheredyn are all about defence and industrial strength. They thrive by expanding their territory with sheer production power and locking it down with rock-solid fortifications. As their zeal grows, so do their bonuses, making them even harder to break. And when push comes to shove, the Kin of Sheredyn can deploy the Chosen elite warriors in advanced mech suits. They might be few in number, but their sheer power makes them more than capable of holding the line.

This is just the start. Amplitude is planning more deep dives into Endless Legend 2, covering factions, mechanics, and other big features leading up to launch. The game was announced during Amplified 2025 and has already racked up over 165,000 wishlists, showing there’s plenty of excitement for the next chapter in the Endless universe.
