Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition is coming on 30 September 2025, but existing players aren’t getting a free ride. Survios has confirmed that if you own the original VR version, you’ll still need to buy the Evolved Edition separately.
“Currently, those who own Alien: Rogue Incursion will have to repurchase the Evolved Edition,” the studio said via email. There’s no upgrade option or discount in place right now, though that could change before launch.
Alien flat-screen gameplay revealed at Comic-Con
Revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, the new gameplay trailer shows the flat-screen version in action. It’s the same Xenomorph-filled horror shooter, but rebuilt without the need for a VR headset. Think tight corridors, classic FPS combat, and a stripped-down interface.
Pre-orders are live now. The Evolved Edition costs $29.99 (around £23.50), with a Digital Deluxe Edition at $39.99 (about £31.30). This isn’t a patch, it’s a separate release.

Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One originally launched in 2024 on PS VR2 and PC VR, and later on Meta Quest 3. The Evolved Edition is a flat version of that same game.
Survios hasn’t given a date for Part Two, but confirmed it’s still in development.
