Assassin’s Creed Shadows just dropped New Game+ and a level 80 cap

Ubisoft has released Title Update 1.0.7 for Assassin’s Creed: Shadows. It adds New Game+, raises the level cap, rebalances combat and economy, and fixes several issues.

New Game+

Finish the journeys of Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro to unlock New Game+ from the Memory menu. Completing a New Game+ run grants Whisper of Gold and Dragon’s Gold: new gold‑plated Legendary Long Katana and Legendary Katana with unique perks.

Progression changes

• Level cap increased from 60 to 80.
• Enemies are tougher and more aware.
• Knowledge Rank expanded to 9 and 10 for more skills, passives, and moves.

Balance updates

• Dismantling gear yields more resources.
• Allies scale better with your level (more health and damage).
• Ronin now has 4 health segments (up from 3).
• Economy tuned: lower buy prices and higher sell returns (more Mon).

Fixes

• Floating trees and rocks were corrected.
• Mountain Demon Kanabo’s glow aligns correctly when sheathed.
• PC: crash fixed when viewing hideout cosmetic stations with Dragon Skin.
• PC: “Critical Hit!” achievement now unlocks properly.

Shadows update 1.0.7 is available now. Ubisoft Connect and Steam will download it automatically. Full patch notes are available on their official site.
