A dark fantasy world in turmoil
Set in Talamh, a world shattered by magical catastrophe, Absolum follows a rebellion against the tyrannical Sun King Azra, who enslaves magic users through his Crimson Order. Leading the fight is the high enchantress Uchawi, alongside outcast warriors determined to bring down Azra’s oppressive rule.

Meet the fighters
Each hero brings a unique combat style:
- Galandra – A necromancer wielding a colossal sword, delivering devastating attacks.
- Karl – The last free dwarf, skilled in close-range brawls with a blunderbuss and brute strength.
- Brome – A young wizard fighting to secure magic’s future.
- Cider – A swift skirmisher, searching for fragments of their lost past.

Fast-paced combat with deep mechanics
Absolum merges classic beat ’em up action with roguelite depth. Combat features rapid combo chains, spellcasting, and strategic counters. Players can experiment with different builds, finding new ways to dominate Azra’s elite forces.
The game supports both single-player and cooperative play, allowing friends to team up for synchronized elemental combos and devastating attacks.

A world alive with secrets and music
From the mines of Grandery to the forests of Jaroba, Absolum promises an immersive journey, enhanced by a soundtrack from Gareth Coker (Ori, Halo Infinite, Prince of Persia), with contributions from Yuka Kitamura (Dark Souls, Elden Ring) and Mick Gordon (DOOM Eternal, Atomic Heart).

With its gorgeous art, dynamic combat, and ever-changing challenges, Absolum aims to set a new standard for beat ’em ups. Keep an eye out for more details as its 2025 release approaches!
