There’s never really a perfect way to write something like this, so I’m just going to be open and honest, as I always try to be.
When I helped found FULLSYNC, it came from a genuine love of gaming, tech, and wanting to create something of our own. What started as a passion project became something much bigger than I ever imagined. Over the years, the site has given me opportunities I never thought I’d have, introduced me to people from all over the world, and helped me grow in ways that go far beyond writing about games and gadgets.
As a shy kid, I was the sort of person who would be too nervous to even pop to the local shop or speak to the neighbours. Fast forward to now, and FULLSYNC has taken me all over the place, put me in rooms with strangers who often became friends, and helped me build a confidence I never thought I’d have. For that alone, I’ll always be grateful.

But as much as I love what FULLSYNC is and what it stands for, I’ve reached a point where I’ve had to be honest with myself. I’ve had a lot going on the last few months, involving the death of a family member and a close friend, and it has me questioning how much more I can realistically give to the site in the role I’ve held up to now. What was once a fun side project has gradually become more like a second job alongside my existing employment. That’s not a bad thing in itself, but it does make you stop and think.
And in a time where major outlets are shutting down, and smaller independent sites are being sold off and turned into something else entirely, I know how important it is to protect spaces like FULLSYNC. Independent gaming media matters. Honest voices matter. Having places to go for genuine news, reviews, opinions, and coverage from people who actually care still matters.

That’s why this decision has been such a difficult one.
After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that I’m stepping down from my role as owner of FULLSYNC.
That said, this is not some dramatic disappearing act. I’m not vanishing. I’ll still be around, still writing reviews, and still contributing to the site. In that sense, I’m not really saying goodbye at all. I’m just taking a step back and passing the baton on.
And I’m incredibly happy to say that the baton is going to someone I trust.
So, who is taking over FULLSYNC?
Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some amazing people through this industry, and one of them is Ben from EnosTech. He’s become a good friend, and he’ll now be taking over the reins of FULLSYNC to make sure the site continues to thrive. In one sense, everything is changing. In another, handing it over to a friend means that not much is changing at all. The same passion will still be there. The same drive to deliver news, reviews, and more will still be there. The same spirit of FULLSYNC will remain.
That’s important to me.

I want to thank everyone I’ve worked with over the years. Every writer, developer, publisher, PR, reader, and supporter who has played a part in this journey. Thank you. You’ve helped make this one hell of a ride, and I’ll always be proud of what we built together.
I also wanted to make sure this was said clearly and directly, because openness and honesty have always been among the core principles of FULLSYNC. The site deserves that, and so do the people who have supported it.
So while this is the end of one chapter for me, it’s not the end of FULLSYNC. Far from it. The site will continue, and I’ll still be around in my own way. And who knows, maybe I’ve got a few new projects bubbling away in the pipework too.
For now, though, all that’s left to say is this:
Thank you.
It’s been amazing. But it’s time for me to step back and let someone else lead the way.
