Corsair has introduced its new VANGUARD AIR 99 Wireless gaming keyboard, designed for both high-level gaming and everyday tasks. This keyboard comes with a 99 percent layout and a very slim body, making it one of the thinnest models from the company at just 18 mm.

The VANGUARD AIR 99 keyboard uses low-profile OPX optical switches, which are made for fast response. These switches register key presses using light, so there is almost no delay. With a short 1.5 mm actuation distance, users can expect quick and smooth input, especially useful in fast-paced games.

Another key feature is the 8000 Hz hyper-polling rate, which works in both wired and wireless modes. This helps reduce input lag and makes gameplay feel more responsive. The keyboard also supports FlashTap SOCD, a feature that improves control during complex movements in games.

The VANGUARD AIR 99 Wireless offers three ways to connect. Users can choose 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or a wired USB connection. It also works across multiple platforms including PC, Mac, and consoles, giving users more flexibility.

For daily use, the keyboard includes special SD keys that connect with the Stream Deck app. These keys allow users to perform actions like opening apps, controlling settings, or running shortcuts with one press. It also supports virtual menus on screen, making it easier to manage tasks without switching windows.

The design focuses on both looks and comfort. It features an aluminium frame, a built-in LCD screen, and a clean modern style. Inside, it uses gasket mounting and multiple layers of sound dampening to improve typing feel and reduce noise. The PBT keycaps are strong and made to last longer without fading.

With its mix of speed, design, and smart features, the VANGUARD AIR 99 Wireless is aimed at users who want a single keyboard for gaming, work, and daily use.
