A new narrative adventure is arriving sooner than expected. TomorrowHead has confirmed that WILL: Follow the Light will launch on 28 April 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox.
The announcement came during the Future Games Show, where the studio also shared a new trailer showing more of the game’s harsh northern setting.
This game is a first-person story-driven experience built in Unreal Engine 5. It follows Will, a lighthouse keeper living on a remote island. His quiet life quickly falls apart after a disaster hits his hometown and his son suddenly goes missing.
With no clear answers, he sets out on a difficult journey to get back home.
WILL: Follow the Light release date brings a harsh survival journey
The journey is not a simple one. Players must travel through a cold and unforgiving wilderness while dealing with dangerous weather and rough terrain.

Getting around also requires different methods of travel. At times, you will move on foot, while other sections involve travelling by boat or using a dog sled to cross snowy landscapes.
Puzzles and navigation are also a key part of the experience. Players will need to find safe routes, solve environmental challenges, and keep moving forward before it is too late.

Roman Novikov, founder and game director at TomorrowHead, said the team is excited to finally bring the game to players and hopes both longtime followers and new players will enjoy the experience when it arrives next month.
Will Follow The Light looks set to deliver a quiet but emotional journey about survival and family.
