Forza Horizon 6 just gave us a fresh look at what it can really do. And honestly, it looks stunning.

Microsoft dropped a short in-engine “Biomes” trailer over the weekend. We see sunlit beaches, tight village roads, thick forests, open countryside, and snowy mountain peaks. The detail is sharp. Lighting feels natural. The new version of the ForzaTech engine clearly means business.

Forza Horizon 6 – Biomes Showcase

Announced during Tokyo Game Show, the game takes the festival to Japan this time. And not just a small slice of it.

The biggest highlight is Tokyo. It is said to be five times larger than any previous Horizon city. Expect dense streets, industrial docks, suburbs, and bright downtown districts. Outside the city, you will drive near Mount Fuji and across regions inspired by Kantō, Chūbu, and Kansai. The map is compressed, but still the largest in the series.

This time, you begin as a tourist, not a star. You earn your place in the festival.

Forza Horizon 6 is set to launch on 19 May 2026 for PC and Xbox, with a PS5 version arriving later. More details are expected soon.
