A fresh demo for Wrath Ops is now live on Steam. Gunplay comes first here, and everything else stays in the background.
The project comes from Grassrootz Games with publishing support from Team17. The team openly says they want a simpler FPS feel. No battle pass. No FOMO tricks. No gacha systems. Just shooting and teamwork.
Wraith Ops demo shows a gameplay-first direction
The demo is short but focused. Arena mode is the main attraction. It is a 6v6, one-life setup across three maps: Airfield, Mall, and Submarine. Matches feel quick and tense. Mistakes matter more here.

The tone also pushes against games like Call of Duty. The developers clearly want distance from that style, even if the core shooting basics overlap.
Development has been slow but steady. The early build once appeared as Project Wraith years ago. Since then, hundreds of fixes and tweaks have shaped the current demo.

The idea is simple: clean shooting, fewer distractions. Now Wraith Ops just needs time to prove it can stand out.
