Saber Interactive and Lionsgate have finally shown their John Wick game during PlayStation’s recent State of Play. The big surprise is simple: Keanu Reeves is fully involved, bringing both his voice and likeness to the character.

From what I saw, this looks like a straight action shooter built to match the films. The trailer hints at heavy gunplay, close combat, and a soundtrack that keeps the same intense mood fans expect. It feels cinematic rather than arcade-style, which suits the series well.
One important detail: despite the strong John Wick branding, the game apparently is not actually called John Wick. That may change later, but for now it works as a clear identity marker.
The timing makes sense. The first film arrived over a decade ago and turned Wick into one of modern action cinema’s most recognisable hitmen. The franchise still has strong momentum, with spin-offs and new projects continuing to appear.
There is no release window so far. Still, based on this reveal, we will be keeping an eye on it. It could become one of the more interesting film-to-game adaptations if handled right.
