Assassin’s Creed show will revolve around a war between two factions
A new report from Variety states that Johan Renck, the Swedish director behind the top-rated HBO series Chernobyl, will be directing the new Assassin’s Creed show. His most famous works include The Last Panther series and various episodes of renowned shows like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Vikings, and more.
The plot remains undisclosed, but we have a fair idea about the story. The series will focus on a shadowy war between two factions, one attempting to control mankind’s future, whilst the other fights to preserve free will. We all know which two factions the series has always revolved around.
Given the failure of the 2016 film, this format looks rather promising now with a world-class director at the helm.
However, the question remains: can the director who made a nuclear disaster look like a horror masterpiece work the same magic here with the Templars’ conspiracy?
