The Relic is published by Perp Games and developed by Project Cloud Games; it leans heavily into Korean folktales and legends. That influence runs through everything, from the world design to the way stories are told during combat. The setting, Arsiltus, is built as a living tapestry of ancient myths, with lore woven directly into the player’s journey rather than tucked away in menus.
Combat is where things get serious. The game features 70 major bosses known as “Brutals,” each tied to a tragic backstory. These fights are designed to test stamina management, timing, and adaptability. Every dodge and block matters. Defeating a Brutal rewards more than just progress, as The Last Guardian inherits their story alongside powerful items and upgrades.
