Wake up! The nightmare has only just begun.
Just in time for Halloween, Super Rare Games has announced that Post Trauma will be launching in physical format for PlayStation 5 on 30th October 2025, in partnership with Red Soul Games and Raw Fury. Only 2,500 Standard Editions will be available worldwide, making this a must-have for collectors of atmospheric horror.
A haunting throwback to the golden age of PS2-era horror, Post Trauma blends classic fixed camera angles with the power of Unreal Engine 5, creating a chillingly modern experience that pays homage to genre-defining titles like Silent Hill and Resident Evil.
A surreal descent into fear
In Post Trauma, players step into the shoes of Roman, a middle-aged train conductor who wakes up trapped in a twisted, dreamlike dimension after a panic attack. Lost and alone, Roman must navigate a world that constantly shifts between logic and madness — a world filled with grotesque architecture, impossible spaces, and unspeakable horrors lurking just beyond the light.
Armed with nothing but his wits and whatever improvised weapons he can scavenge, players must decide whether to fight the monsters that stalk them or find ways to avoid confrontation altogether. Each step deeper into the nightmare reveals fragments of Roman’s psyche and the mysterious truth behind this otherworldly realm.

Puzzle-solving and psychological pressure
At its core, Post Trauma is a game of exploration, deduction, and survival. Players must scour the environment for clues, solve intricate puzzles, and uncover items hidden in the unlikeliest places. Every discovery pushes the story forward, but also deeper into dread.
From derelict corridors to haunting, liminal landscapes, the game forces players to confront fear not just through combat, but through disorientation, atmosphere, and the unknown. It’s horror the old-fashioned way, slow, methodical, and unrelentingly tense.

Crafted by a world-class team
Post Trauma features full voice acting from Togo Igawa, Autumn Ivy, and Hyoie O’Grady, lending life and personality to its eerie cast of characters. Its chilling ambience is heightened by an original score composed by Nicolas Gasparini (Myuu), whose haunting melodies perfectly complement the game’s psychological unease.
With meticulous detail and love for the classics, Red Soul Games has created a spiritual successor that’s both nostalgic and daringly modern, proof that the psychological horror genre still has new terrors to explore.
