Hideo Kojima marked his studio’s 10th anniversary at Tokyo Game Show 2025 with a set of big updates. Fans got a fresh look at OD, Death Stranding Mosquito, and a small tease of PHYSINT.
The new OD trailer dropped first. Published by Xbox Game Studios, it showed Sophia Lillis in action alongside Udo Kier and Hunter Schafer. It set an eerie tone but revealed little about the gameplay. Kojima previously hinted it’ll be a divisive title, one that players either adore or dismiss instantly.

Next came Death Stranding Mosquito. ABC ANIMATION will produce this animated film with a script by Aaron Guzikowski, known for Prisoners and Raised by Wolves. Direction falls to Hiroshi Miyamoto. It’s separate from the live action Death Stranding movie, which is being led by Michael Sarnoski.

PHYSINT key art teased
Finally, Kojima gave a small update on PHYSINT. Key art teased a protagonist resembling Eddie Redmayne, though nothing is confirmed. Cast members include Charlee Fraser, Ma Dong-seok, and Minami Hamabe. Development was slowed by the SAG-AFTRA strike, delaying casting. Kojima also revealed that 3Lateral is creating new technology to capture Hamabe’s likeness with precision.
The project remains in concept stages and could still be years away. But the hints were enough to keep anticipation alive for Kojima’s next wave of projects.
