IGN has shared another 13 minutes of gameplay from REANIMAL, the new horror adventure from Tarsier Studios, the team behind Little Nightmares I & II.
REANIMAL first 13 minutes gameplay
The footage shows a brother and sister trapped on a dark island. Their goal is simple: they have to find their missing friends and escape. But nothing about this world feels safe. The island is filled with broken memories, hostile monsters, and places that look like they’re hiding stories of their own.

Tarsier Studios has leaned into what they do best – unnerving atmosphere. The shared fixed camera makes the spaces feel smaller, tighter, and more dangerous. The developers say the game is designed to keep players on edge, pushing tension and mystery at every turn.
The monsters are new but carry the studio’s signature twisted art style. Child characters are fragile and scarred, each design inspired by painful pasts and the horrors that chase them. It’s unsettling, yet oddly beautiful.
REANIMAL can be played solo or with a friend. Both local and online co-op are supported, letting players experience the nightmare together.
There’s no release date yet. But the first look already feels like the next big step for Tarsier Studios. If you enjoyed Little Nightmares, this is one to watch closely.
