Lords of the Fallen 2 will be revealed during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. The follow-up to 2023’s Lords of the Fallen will make its first appearance at the event, kicking off the showcase with its trailer.
The news came unusually. Geoff Keighley, host of Opening Night Live, posted an image of a bloody ‘II’ with the words “Blood Will Spill” on social media. While it wasn’t named directly, fans quickly linked it to Lords of the Fallen.

No flashy reveal for the Lords of the Fallen 2
Shortly after, CI Games CEO Marek Tyminski confirmed it in the simplest way possible by sharing the image and adding, “Lords of the Fallen II.” No cinematic trailer. No flashy press release. Just that.

The original Lords of the Fallen didn’t make a huge impact when it launched in 2023. But updates since then have improved the Soulslike’s performance and refined its innovative dual-realm system. It built a stronger following over time.
There’s a chance Gamescom will bring more than just a reveal. The Lords of the Fallen 2 is confirmed for a 2026 release, so we might even get a date. For now, fans just have to wait until Opening Night Live to see what’s next.
