Shadow Project is getting a PC demo on 9th August. If you’re into STALKER or Metro, you’ll want to try this.
Orphic Studios is making it. It’s a narrative-driven horror FPS set during the Cold War. You’ll sneak into Soviet territory to stop a secret experiment. Levels are open, detailed, and built for player choice: go loud, stay quiet, or find another way around.
One hour of Shadow Project, full optimisation, and a slice of the soundtrack
The demo includes an hour of gameplay. The devs say it’s fully optimised with proper UX and includes six tracks from the game’s OST.
Game combat uses Cold War-era weapons. You can mod them with parts to fit your style, and yeah, ammo is limited, so you’ll need to manage supplies carefully.
Shadow Project was set for 2025 but has been pushed to 2026. There is no firm release date yet, but the demo hits PC in August.
