Tokyo Game Show 2025 unveils exciting exhibitor lineup and stunning new visual

The Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association has revealed the full list of exhibitors and the official main visual for Tokyo Game Show 2025. The event will run from 25 to 28 September at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

A total of 772 companies from 46 countries and regions are participating. That includes 473 from Japan and 299 international exhibitors. There will be 4,083 booths, topping last year’s record of 3,252. This makes TGS 2025 the biggest edition yet.

Hell of a visual for Tokyo Game Show 2025: Zashiki Warashi returns for TGS 2025

The main visual was drawn by Zashiki Warashi. It’s themed around “Unlimited, Neverending Playgrounds”. The teaser got a huge response earlier, and Warashi shared how special it felt.

“My mum was excited too,” she said. “I drew this with a lot of love and pressure. I hope people enjoy it, even a little.”

Huge names, small studios, and everything in between

Major studios like Sony, SEGA, Square Enix, Ubisoft, and Capcom are showing up. They’re joined by dozens of hardware brands, indie developers, universities, and publishers.

There are booths for:

  • Gaming tech: ROG, BenQ, Keychron, EPOMAKER, and more.
  • AR/VR: bHaptics, Gatebox, Japan Electronics College, and others.
  • Lifestyle and goods: Fangamer, COSPA, iam8bit, and Toypla.
  • Merch and sales: Capcom, Bandai Namco, Koei Tecmo, and others are selling exclusive items.
  • Business and education: Game schools and cloud tech services are also on board.

Indie devs get their spotlight

Indies are a huge part of the show this year. Over 100 studios are joining under the Indie Game Area and Selected Indie 80. Standouts include Spiral Up Games, ONEXPLAYER, WhisperGames, and BattleBrew Productions.

Online and accessible for all

If you can’t attend, don’t worry. There’s an online exhibition planned. There’s also an All Accessibility Area to highlight accessible gaming and design.

Tokyo Game Show 2025 is about more than games

This year’s Tokyo Game Show feels global. Developers are coming from Brazil, Spain, South Korea, India, and more. It’s a celebration of games from every corner of the world.
