Eternal Strands, the debut fantasy action-adventure game from Yellow Brick Games, is set to launch on January 28, 2025. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, and will also be part of Game Pass. Alongside this announcement, the developer revealed an exciting collaboration with Square Enix’s Creative Studio III to create post-launch content.
Post-launch update with Square Enix’s Creative Studio III
Yellow Brick Games is working with Creative Studio III, the team behind Final Fantasy XIV Online and Final Fantasy XVI, to bring new content to Eternal Strands after its release. The first update, arriving in spring 2025, will include:
- A new Epic creature.
- A set of weapons and armour designed by Yusuke Mogi, a lead artist known for his work on Final Fantasy XIV Online.
This update will be free for all players. A recent trailer teased the aerial Epic creature, promising a visually stunning addition that adds a new layer of challenge to the game’s combat.

The game will offer full localisation in seven languages, including:
- Korean and German (interface and subtitles).
- English and French, both with full voice acting.
