NetEase Games and Naked Rain have unveiled the official “Announce” trailer for Ananta, a free-to-play urban open-world RPG. Along with the trailer, they’ve launched a website called Scope, which gives a sneak peek at the game’s world through fun social media-style posts.
What is Ananta about?
In Ananta, you play as an elite Agent working for the Anti-Chaos Directorate (A.C.D.). Your mission? Bring order to Nova City, a place where strange things happen daily—like haunted streets or racing toilets zooming past you!
The game combines humour, action, and mystery as you battle enemies, solve puzzles, and explore a vibrant city. Along the way, you’ll meet unique characters and uncover secrets about yourself.
What makes Nova City special
Nova City is a realistic urban playground full of exciting places to visit. Whether it’s:
- Dancing the night away at the Sonic Boom Club,
- Diving into books at the Whalebone Library, or
- Enjoying art at the Eve Art Museum,
there’s always something to explore. The city also connects to other towns, so the adventure doesn’t stop in one place.
Action-packed gameplay & missions
Combat in Ananta feels like a martial arts movie. You can use the environment to take down enemies while deciding what’s right and wrong. As an Agent, your job is to protect the good and stop the bad.
